Jun 2008, D&AD New Blood Exhibition, Earls Court, London, University of Lincoln
Having the opportunity to exhibit at D&AD New Blood in the summer of 2008, as part of the Uniersity of Lincoln, has by far been one of the highlights when finishing my BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design.
I exhibited my ISTD project, 'Rekon yurupt tu Lesta stweet lingo?' (Do you think you can handle Leicester street language?) and personal map 'Out of my hands'.
The experience was brilliant. I throughly enjoyed celebrating with my course friends, meeting students from other universities, being able to freely wonder around to have a look at the healthy compitition - all of which inspired and motivated me to re-visit personal projects and explore new avenues within design. |
