Out of my hands

The aim of this project was to design and produce a functional map.

Based on the ten-month treatment of my grandma's bowel cancer operation, this piece documents a personal family affliction. Abstract shapes and captions display the various complications in the treatment and are presented on traditional dot matrix paper with hand-written diary notes - replicating the appearance of hospital filing trays.
